parents are King Suddhodhana and Mahamaya. Mahamaya died for seven days after
the birth of Siddhartha. Later he grown up
by his mother’s sister Mahaprajapati.
A well known sooth-sayer says that
Siddhartha may be a great emperor or great sage. Listening to these words king
Sudhodhana wants his son to be a great emperor. So he kept Siddhartha in a
palace where he is surrounded with only joy and happiness. He grown up as a
handsome young and dynamic. Till now he don’t know any single problem.
One day while he was roaming in his
palace from the window he saw an old couple who are begging for the food, he
saw an ill person who was in bed in a very pitiful state. Finally he saw a
funeral ceremony of a person.
Seeing all these he came to know the
originality of life. Every person has to face all the stages in the life. He
wants to search a new meaning for life.
One fine day he left his wife and son
Rahul, went away from the palace. He went to Bodh GAYA sat under a tree in deep
