Andhra Pradesh is a group of historical places. There are number of famous temples, beaches, forests etc. Most visiting places in this state are
1) HYDERABAD:
Hyderabad is a most historical place in the Andhra Pradesh. It is the capital city. There are lots of places to see in Hyderabad.
- At first listening the name of Hyderabad we remember the great Charminar. It is built by Quli Qutub Shah in the year 1591-92. It is located in old city.
- Ramoji Film city located at the outskirts of the hyderabad, which is the worlds most famous studio where the shootings took place
- Chilukur Balaji Temple: This place is also located in the outskirts oh hyderabad in which Lord Balaji gives his dharshan to people. There is a strong belief that if we prayed to god for our wish then god made our wish to become true. After fulfilling our wish we have to make 108 rounds around the temple.
- Assembly, Birla Mandir, Ravindra Bharathi, NTR Gardens, etc are the sight seeing place
- There are number of shopping malls, big Cinema theatres to enjoy.
2) VIJAYAWADA:
Vijayawada is most famous for Kanaka Durga temple which is located on Indhrakheeladhri - the name of the hill. We have beautiful glance of city and the river Krishna from the top of the hill. Thousands of people came in to line to have a holy dharshan of sree Kanaka Durga Ammavaru. It is located in the Guntur district.
3) Tirupathi:
Tirupathi is the most famous place not only in the Andhra Pradesh . It is very famous throughout the world. It is located in Chitoor district. Tirupathi is the place which is famous for number of temples. In every ones mind listening the word tirupathi means it remember lord Venkateshwara. Tirumala is located in Tirupathi. Tirumala is a place of seven hills in which lord balaje is there. There is a big temple in which lakhs of people are having darshan of balaji. In Tirupathi there is one more famous temple of Lord Sri Krishna called Iskon temple. Some more places in tirupathi are Chandragiri fort, Tiruchanur - padmavathi Ammavaru, Kapilatheertham, Govinda raja swami temple.
Totally tirupathi is a famous place for temples and beautiful environment which makes the heart to relax.
4) Bhadrachalam:
Bhadrachalam is the most famous historical place. It is located in Khammam district. This place is having relation with Ramayanam. Shree SitaRamaChandra swami done vanavasam in this place. Kancharla Gopanna, the great devotee of Sri Rama Chandra built the temple in Bhadrachalam
5) Srisailam:
Srisailam is located at Nallamala hills in the Kurnool district. Bhramarambha Mallikarjuna swali is located at srisailam. It is one of the ancient Kshetras in India. This place is situated at the right side of the Krishna river. Mallikarjuna swami is the image of lord Shiva. It is one of the 12 Jyothirlingas.
6) Penchalakona:
Penchalakona is located in the Rapur Mandal of Nellore district. Lord narasimhaswami is located in this place. It is located in the hilly area. There are number of hotels and sathras for the sake of tourists. After killing the rakshasa Hiranya kasipa lord Narsimha bathed in the Penchalakona.
7) Yadagirigutta:
It is located in Nalgonda district. It consists of famous temple of Narasimha swami an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Now in yadagirigutta a famous place is there in which we can see all the puranas,
ithihasas and the most famous temples located in India at one place.
8) Lepakshi:
Lepakshi is located 15 kms far from Hindupur at Anantapur district. There is a old temple built in 16th century which shows the vijayanagar architecture. Lepakshi has the most prominent history in Ramayanam. When Ravana was kidnapping seetha on the way one bird called "Jatayuvu" tried to stop Ravana. Ravana killed that bird and take away seetha. Sri Rama on the way of searching Seetha reached that place and saw that bird injured and asked the bird " leee Pakshi". So that place becomes lepakshui in the days.
