New terror for Gujarat - Swine flu

 
Swine flu is a viral infection which can be infected in many ways. This viral infection is spread through air. It is very dangerous virus.

The symptoms of swine flu are cold, Flu and cough. People do not have the natural immunity power to fight with swine flu. It is more sensitive to antiviral drugs. Drug has to be taken before 48 hours the person is infected.

Now Gujarat is registered as tghe place where there are number of swine flu cases. The disease is spreading like wildfire.

Rising in number of Swine Flu cases in Gujarat past months have sent red signal. There are reports that the medical employees at government hospitals have been cancelled and are being denied of any leaves for some time now. 

Although there is a silent order from the government, since nobody is giving exact number of swine flu cases of everyday in Gujarat.



As this is the airborne disease it is becoming difficult to maintaining the police to control. During the hli season lots of people gather together near the temple dakor to make poojas and seek blessings from god. Polices are playing a crucial role in order to save the people from the virus. They want the people to seek blessings from god and to infect by the virus.

Now the Intelligence Bureau has issued a warning about the possible outbreak of swineflu.In Gujarat, there are over 100 who have been infected this year while 103 deaths have been reported. They have had one of the highest swine- flu deaths in the country. According to media reports, Gujarat has reported 2,874 swine flu positive cases since its outbreak in 2009.

With swine flu assuming killer proportions, it seems headache for the doctors but for the authorities too. The police in turn have passed on the alerts to the health department 


While our attempts to contact principal secretary, health services, PK Taneja went in vain, Dr HF Patel, district health officer of Kheda said that a number of steps were being taken to prevent spread of the disease
