Reasons for becoming obese


            Obesity is a major problem now a days in the whole world. Obesity is defined as storage of excess amount of fat in the body. There is no medicine for preventing the obese problem completely. It is better to take the precautions for the obese problem not to find the solution for preventing it.

             In order to take precautions for obese problem first of all we have to know what are the basic reasons for obesity. The major reasons for becoming obese are as follows:
    • Imbalance calories:\ Mainly the weight gain and accumulation of fat is due to intake of imbalance of calories in to the body. Calories plays a major role in the human body. Deficiency of calories results in  huge healthy problems and more intake of calories in tothe body becomes obese.
    • Genes: Genetic problem is main factor for becoming obese. Some people who even take less intake of food becomes obese due to their genetic problem. when the people in the family is having the property of gaining the weight easily, there may be a chance of affecting the problem to the child also. In this cases the child has to maintain the food habits from the childhood itself in order to prevent obesity.
    • Environment: Environment is the factor which affects majorly that the usage of vehicles and no physical strain to the body even in the household works and also in the offices. Due to the advancement of technology people are not ready to face any physical strain to the body. This affects the body to become obese.
    • Lack of energy balance: Energy balance also causes over weight and obesity. Energy balance means energy IN and energy OUT. Energy IN is the energy obtained in to the the body in the form of calories based on the intake of food and energy OUT is the amount of energy spend by doing physical activity. If the amount of energy IN is equal to the amount of energy OUT then there is no chance of gaining the weight.
    • Health conditions: Due to some health conditions also there will be obese problem. This can occur due to hormone problems. Imbalance of hormones results in thyroid, cushing syndrome, PCOS problems.
      • Thyroid problem means lack of thyroid hormone. The lacking of this hormone slow down the metabolism and makes human body losses the energy ultimately results in tiredness and obesity.
      • Cushing syndrome releases the cortisol hormone in excess amount, leads to the weight gain and results the storage of fat some body places. It results rounded face, fat around t he neck thin legs and arms.
      • PCOS - Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a problem which affects the women. This problem occurs due to the high level in hormones called androgens.
    • Medicines: Medicinal intake also a factor of weight gain. Medicines decreases the rate of body burning calories and made the body to store more water content results in obese problem.
    • Pregnancy: Women gain the body weight during pregnancy and after giving birth to baby.
