- Multiply your height times itself.
- Divide the first answer with the second answer.
The final value is the BMI value of that particular body. Based on the BMI value w e can interpret the body weight.
- BMI range below 18.5 considered as underweight.
- BMI range 18.5 - 24.9 considered as normal weight.
- BMI range 25.0 - 29.9 considered as over weight.
- BMI range above 30 considered as abnormal weight, obesity.
BMI is below 18.5, person in this category has to improve his weight by taking more healthy food in a proper way. Persons under the category of normal weight has to maintain their body by intaking the food in organised way. Persons under the category of overweight has to minimize the intake of food which contains more calories and maintain the body by doing exercises and walking. Till this stage there may not be more problems.
Person under the category of obesity and abnormal weight must and sure should consult a doctor to find a solution to reduce their weight and fat content in the body. This is a severe problem in which they face more difficulties in health issues.
